Welcome to Fairy Dreams

Hi, hello, welcome to my blog.

I'm currently a furloughed bartender (I've been stuck at home for nearly 11 weeks...lol) and needed somewhere to be creative and throughout my four years at uni we were actively encouraged to create blogs and post about our learning, etc. I suppose its better late than never, am i right?

So I want this to be a place I can actively talk and educate people about the things I am passionate about, whether this be activism, cocktails, travel and many other things. I am craving a creative outlet so what better start than my birth month...and also pride month

It sounds really stereotypical of a of a cis-gendered straight white woman to be like 'I love pink things and sparkles' but its true I do like them. Along with a lot of other things that make me unique.

To whom ever this blog reaches, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for actually reading something that a person may have spent hours on crouching over their old laptop or a post written whilst drinking a coffee. No matter who reads it, it makes a difference to those people who have wrote it.

I should probably introduce myself a little more. I've recently graduated from a Masters degree in Dance and I'll most likely do a post on tips for postgraduate study and even undergraduate study. My time at university was one of the best periods of my life.

I'm one of those people who love the same things over and over and really struggle to do something new, if you get me. So I enjoy going to the same places on city breaks just because I like the city rather than going to be touristy, if that even makes any sense. So as an example, I have been to Krakow in Poland, 4 times and its not like I don't want to go anywhere else because I most definitely do, I just suppose I feel safe in the city and vaguely know my way around and it's a little like a comfort blanket.

I'm thankful just to speak a little about myself and introduce what this blog can be focused on.

I know this is only short but I look forward to what to this blog could be.

I hope that I can actually put my mind to this and continue writing and documenting as I'm known to get distracted by life and priorities changed...I'm furloghed so I have no priorities right now lol.
